Telecommunication law is a relatively new, developing direction of international and russian law, which could be standalone field of law. The most exact definition of it is the subsection of information law.

There is great interest for lawyers science researches in adjacent subjects as sociology, politology, technical, philosophy etc.

In the most large countries law regulation takes as a special direction. Other countries use the same approach. There is in Russia tradition to regulate telecommunication as a common one. This situation is productive for researches in science and legislative.

Active development is in subject as 'Telecommunication Law'. In most high scools the one states standalone subject recently (for example, in Sydney University from 1998). Today this is basic discipline for lawyers, journalists, engineers, managers. Moreover, taking telecommunication law as base, there are forming subjects as Information Technology Law, Media Law, Space Law.
